In an effort to establish fair measures and standardize freight pricing, the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) created the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) system that classifies all commodities in the United States into one of 18 classifications. Effective April 10, 2021 there will be several changes to classifications in Supplement 1 of NMF 100-AU that you should be aware of.

Roosevelt declared August 19^th as National Aviation Day to honor our nation’s achievements in the skies and to celebrate the birthday of civil aviation pioneer Orville Wright. On July 1st, 2020 the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) replaced the 26-year-old North American Trade Agreement (NAFTA) governing all trade within North America. In response to the State of Connecticut's lifted workplace restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic,
BTX Global Logistics is pleased to announce that our personnel are back at the company's Corporate Headquarters in Shelton, Conn., as of July 6th. BTX was fortunate enough to be among businesses deemed essential throughout the pandemic with limited staff working out of its various warehouses and office locations throughout North America and many of its employees working remotely from March through June.
