BTX Global Logistics is pleased to announce two key promotions within the Corporate Management level of the organization in the Sales and Operations departments. Founded in 1980, BTX is a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services with 42 regional branches strategically located across North America.

Effective immediately, Michael Bacarella, will transition to the role of Vice President of Sales and Joseph Bacarella will transition to Vice President of Operations for the organization.

“Growing up in a transportation and logistics family, Michael and Joe learned all aspects of the business from me and the BTX management team,” said BTX CEO Rosario “Ross” Bacarella. “As their father, I am proud to see them succeed and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments with the company.”

Michael has been with BTX Global Logistics since 2005 and has been focused in external sales and building business relationships. Prior to this, Michael served in numerous capacities within the Sales Department, which is currently overseen by John Eastland, Chief Commercial Officer.

“I am excited to begin this new phase of my journey at BTX,” said Michael Bacarella. “I am here to support all sales personnel by helping them take business to new levels.”

Joseph has been with the company for 11 years working in all aspects of BTX Operations and works closely with the IT team on BTX’s proprietary operational software, BTXShip. The BTX Operations Department is overseen by Tim McElroy, Chief Operating Officer.

“I am really happy to see Joe taking on a broader role with BTX. He works closely with our regional branches to promote operational efficiencies throughout the organization,” said McElroy. “Successful operations translate into timely deliveries and happy customers.”
