National Motor Freight Class Changes Effective April 10, 2021
In an effort to establish fair measures and standardize freight pricing, the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) created the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) system that classifies all commodities in the United States into one of 18 classifications.
