2018 was an exceptional year for BTX Global Logistics, a global shipping and logistics organization headquartered in Shelton, Conn. The year was marked by exponential growth across all levels of the business including staffing, the opening of new regional branches and the expansion of service offerings.

BTX Global Logistics Chief Executive Officer and President Ross Bacarella was named the winner of the 2018 Top Leadership award for small employers in Connecticut in Hearst Media’s Top Workplaces. The honor was announced at an awards ceremony at The Waterview (Monroe, Conn.) made up of the leading employers in the area where BTX was also recognized as a Hearst Connecticut Media Group Top Workplace for the third consecutive year.

Global freight forwarding and logistics company, BTX Global Logistics, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art world headquarters in Shelton, Conn. The celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 27, at 4:00 p.m. 

Every year, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) conducts tens of thousands of commercial motor vehicle inspections during its annual International Roadcheck. This year’s CVSA International Roadcheck starts today, June 5, and ends on June 7, 2018. During this 72-hour inspection blitz, everyone should be prepared for transit delays.

BTX Global Logistics is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest shipping and logistics service center – BTX-Nashville (BTX-BNA). Located in Old Hickory, Tenn., BTX-Nashville offers customers a full menu of domestic and international heavy-weight freight options along with specialized services and e-commerce solutions.

It all started in 2008 when New York City’s Department of Transportation (DOT) released the agency’s “Sustainable Streets” strategic plan to reduce traffic congestion and increase street safety for pedestrians and drivers in the City’s busiest areas. Since then, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plan has been implemented phase-by-phase throughout the years. Among the City’s many initiatives are new curbside regulations and restrictions that will affect deliveries being made to designated areas in NYC beginning in 2018.
