Global freight forwarding and logistics company, BTX Global Logistics, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art world headquarters in Shelton, Conn. The celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 27, at 4:00 p.m. 

BTX Global Logistics welcomes local associates, customers, carriers, neighbors, media, and state and local officials to unveil its 75,000 square-foot facility custom designed to meet the changing demands of the logistics industry and its workforce. The new building is located at 12 Commerce Drive in the corporate section of Shelton in the heart of Fairfield County.

“At BTX, we understand the value of investing in our customers and in our people. Our new state-of-the-art headquarters is fully equipped with the best amenities to provide our staff with a healthy and productive working environment where they can enjoy continual personal and professional grow,” said Ross Bacarella, President and CEO of BTX Global Logistics.

“In addition to offering the best to our people, our new fulfillment center allows us to provide our customers with in-house specialty e-commerce services,” he added.

From the front lobby to the loading docks, BTX meticulously designed every inch of its modern world headquarters. The environment-friendly facility boasts high-efficiency lighting and HVAC equipment; over 75 office cubicles with sit-stand desks and dual monitors; 25 private offices; multiple conference rooms; a custom designed kitchen and lounge area; a fitness center and a state-of-the-art warehouse and fulfillment center.

“BTX is a great place to work. Ross is very generous and accommodating,” said Judy Albert, Accounts Payable Supervisor, with BTX Global for 11 years. “The new office is amazing. It’s nice, clean and fresh. I really like its openness.” 

But despite the company’s rapid growth and all the perks associated with the beautiful new building, one thing has remained the same throughout the years – BTX’s family atmosphere. It is this family atmosphere that is attributable to BTX's high retention rate with over 25% of its employees at the corporate headquarters being with the company for 10 years or more.

“It’s a great bunch of guys here. I can always count on them when I need help,” says Paul Bogardus of BTX’s Truckload Department. “It’s good to have a great support system.”
