National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW) was founded in 1998 by the American Trucking Association (ATA) to honor the hard work of the men and women that deliver the goods that keep America moving on a daily basis. This year, NTDAW takes place from September 11-17, 2022. 

Every year, BTX Global Logistics commemorates National Aviation Day on August 19th. This important date was originally established in 1939 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to celebrate our nation’s aviation achievements and honor the birthdate of flight pioneer Orville Wright. As an industry leading freight forwarder, BTX recognizes the integral role, aviation and aerospace play in global logistics.

BTX Global Logistics has recently signed a Global Message Gateway Agreement with Global Logistics System (HK) Company Limited (GLS). Through the connection to the GLS EzyCargo^TM platform, all BTX branch offices can exchange standard International Air Transport Association (IATA) air cargo messages and shipment data with its connecting airlines worldwide in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Last year, we saw an incredible paradigm shift in capacity with regards to global supply chains. In the United States, e-commerce traffic took our normal capacity away in November and December due to record level volumes. Severe backlogs with our core vendors forced BTX Global Logistics and others in our industry to look elsewhere to move cargo just about anywhere.
